China's Xinjiang's H1 foreign trade volume grows 6,6 percent
Foreign trade volume of grew by 6.6 percent in the first half 2013 to reach $10.47billion
China's northwest Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region saw its foreign trade grow by 6.6 percent in the first half of 2013 up to $10.47 billion, data showed. According to statistics released by Urumqi Customs, the autonomous region exported $9.08 billion worth of goods in H1 2013, up 24.6 percent from a year earlier, while its imports totaled $1.39 billion. Central Asian countries were the main trading partners for Xinjiang while exports to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan stood at $7.09 billion.
