This new route aims to provide travelers with an engaging way to explore the scenic beauty and cultural richness of Türkiye.

The inaugural journey is scheduled to depart from Ankara on April 17, embarking every Wednesday at 3:55 p.m.

During the journey, the train will make a significant four-hour stop in Elazig for sightseeing, allowing passengers to immerse themselves in the local culture and scenery.

The final destination will be Tatvan in the province of Bitlis, with the train arriving at 7:16 p.m.

As for the return journey from Tatvan to Ankara, it will begin on April 19 and will continue every Friday until June 14.

The train is set to leave Tatvan at 6:35 p.m., with leisurely stops in Palu for three hours, Elazığ for four hours, and Kayseri for three hours, before reaching Ankara at 5:11 p.m.

These stops are designed to enrich the travel experience, offering passengers the opportunity to explore various locales.

TCDD emphasized that there is no upper limit on group travel ticket sales, ensuring more people can enjoy this unique journey. Tickets for these touristic train services are now available for purchase, and further information can be obtained from the TCDD's official website.

This initiative by TCDD is part of a broader effort to promote tourism and provide visitors with novel ways to discover the beauty of Türkiye.
