North Korea determined to increase nuclear capacity

North Korea's efforts to increase its nuclear capacity continue in accordance with the logic of the country's security architecture. Under the leadership of the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, these efforts have gained momentum in recent years.

North Korea determined to increase nuclear capacity

According to North Korea's official news agency, the Korean Central News Agency, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un held an important meeting with his country's military leaders. During this meeting, Kim instructed his military staff to expand the country's nuclear capacity quickly and practically.

In recent weeks, the US and South Korea's increased military exercises in response to North Korea's weapons tests have turned into a vicious circle and increased regional tensions. In the face of the latest developments, Kim called the Central Military Commission of the Labor Party to a meeting. According to the information received, Kim discussed his country's preparations for war with the members of the Commission and said that they should increase their nuclear capacity.

It was stated that the current security challenges in the Korean Peninsula were emphasized in the meeting "in the midst of the increasing preparations for the attack by the American imperialists and the treacherous puppets of South Korea".

US-SOUTH KOREA EXERCISES DISTURBING NORTH KOREA

South Korea and the United States held joint air exercises last week, including the B-52H strategic bomber, arguing that efforts to strengthen deterrence against North Korea's growing threats continue.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Defense of South Korea, it was reported that the South Korean Air Force's F-35A stealth fighter planes and the US F-35B and F-16 fighter planes took part in the joint air exercises.

North Korea announced in March that it was holding a nuclear counterattack exercise. It was stated that the exercise consists of three parts, which are the management of the nuclear attack control system, the transition to the nuclear counterattack state and the launch of the ballistic missile carrying the nuclear warhead model.

THE PROBLEM OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SOUTH AND NORTH

The South Korean government reported that North Korea had not responded to regular calls made through its cross-border liaison and military hotline for days.

"North Korea seems to have cut the daily line of communication unilaterally, as it has not answered routine calls since April 7," the South Korean Ministry of Unification said in a statement.

NORTH KOREA IS DETERMINED ABOUT NUCLEAR

North Korea is making strategic planning and technological investments to increase its nuclear capacity. The country continues its efforts to modernize its nuclear facilities, develop new generation nuclear weapons and advance nuclear missile technologies without slowing down.

By increasing its nuclear capacity, North Korea aims to both strengthen its national security and become more active in the international arena. However, these efforts negatively affect the country's relations with the international community and contribute to the nuclear arms race.
