Türkiye's Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced an exciting update for tourists and history enthusiasts.

Visitors can now enjoy extended hours for the entire tourism season at several of the country's most renowned museums and archaeological sites.

"Aspendos, Side, Patara, Hierapolis, and Ephesus will remain open until midnight," stated the Directorate, pointing at a significant increase in accessibility for these ancient cities.

This move aims to boost tourism by allowing visitors to explore these iconic locations under the enchanting night sky.

The Directorate also revealed that the Istanbul Airport Museum and the Galata Tower would welcome guests until 11:00 p.m. Furthermore, the Hagia Sophia Historical Museum, the Van Akdamar Monument Museum, and the Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum will be open until 10:00 p.m.

By extending visiting hours, Türkiye is actively enhancing its cultural and historical offerings to tourists.

These changes offer visitors more time to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of these sites. This initiative stands to significantly boost the Turkish tourism sector, known for its diverse blend of natural beauty and historical depth.
