Simsek affirms strong confidence in Türkiye's 'Medium-term Program'

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Simsek has highlighted Türkiye's participation in meetings with the G-20, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank and investor programs, underscoring the robust confidence in the country and its program.

In a statement shared on social media, Minister Simsek expressed satisfaction with the trust displayed toward Türkiye and its program during these gatherings.

He emphasized the government's commitment to implementing the program with patience, determination and perseverance, reinforcing it with upcoming steps.

Simsek elaborated on the productive discussions held with counterparts from other countries, officials from international organizations and companies, investors, business representatives, and think tanks during the G-20, IMF, and World Bank meetings and investor programs.

Furthermore, he noted the convening of the 14th Türkiye Investment Conference in New York, where interactions occurred with investors, business entities, and credit rating agencies.

Simsek affirmed the resilience and determination with which Türkiye will continue to implement its program, buoyed by the evident trust exhibited during these engagements.
