Carano sues Disney after being dropped from 'The Mandalorian' series

Gina Carano, who was removed from the cast of "The Mandalorian" series in 2021 after her social media post was claimed to project "antisemitic" views, sued Disney and Lucasfilm production company.

"Today is an important day for me," Carano shared, announcing that she is suing Disney and Lucasfilm.

Arguing that the statements she used were distorted to "demonize" her, the actress stated that she wanted to continue her work where she left off.

Stating that Elon Musk, the owner of X, provided her with legal assistance, Carano said: "I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to Elon Musk and X for the opportunity to make my case visible."

"To my surprise, a few months ago I received an email from a lawyer who had been hired by X to look into my story and many others. Turns out after sending them as much information as I could gather in these past few months, my lawyers and X believe wholeheartedly in my case and how we are moving forward,” Carano expressed confidence in her lawyers.
