Pera Museum marks Türkiye-Japan centennial with concert

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan, the Pera Museum will host a special concert titled "From Beethoven to Prokofiev: A Musical Journey."

According to a statement released by the museum, the concert will be held on May 4 at 7:30 p.m. in conjunction with the “Intersecting Worlds: Envoys and Painters” exhibition, which brings together a selection of orientalist paintings.

Mina Aoki-Girardelli, a student of violin virtuoso Boris Belkin, will perform with pianist Cagdas Ozkan in a concert featuring masterpieces from different periods.

Pera Museum, located in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul, offers art lovers a rich cultural experience. The museum houses works of art from various periods, especially from the Ottoman period and later.
