Lukashenko tries to keep Wagner fighters in Belarus

Belarusian President Lukashenko met with Russian leader Putin for the first time since an agreement was reached after the Wagner rebellion. Lukashenko said mercenaries training troops in Belarus were 'eager to go to the West'. "I am keeping them in central Belarus, like we agreed," the leader said.
