Google Gemini AI can now be accessed on Android devices

The technology company Google has introduced enhanced artificial intelligence functionalities for Android users. 

Google has boosted AI features for Android users, expanding device capabilities and introducing new ways to interact with its Gemini generative AI.

During this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC), Google, present at a booth, unveiled new methods for users to engage with the Gemini generative AI on their devices, especially within Google Messages. This will enable users to communicate with the AI as if it were just another contact in their list. Here's a list of new features being offered by Google: 

• The rollout of Gemini access commenced in the final week of February, eliminating the need for an extra app to utilize the AI function. 
• Universal access to Generative AI 
• Even individuals uninterested in engaging with Gemini will gain access to additional AI capabilities on their Android devices. Drivers, specifically, will find utility in its integration into Google Messages on smartphones, enabling the translation of intricate texts and group chats into simplified summaries. Additionally, the feature can guide users through potential responses to messages and assist in other tasks, ensuring driver focus on the road. 
• Enhanced accessibility for individuals with visual impairments 
• Generative AI features offer significant advantages for low-vision and blind users, including the provision of AI-generated descriptions for images received through the Google Messages app, in addition to text interaction capabilities.
