TERRIFYING FIRE IN SPAIN'S CANARY ISLANDS

In Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands in southwestern Spain, 5 villages were evacuated due to forest fire threatening residential areas. The villages of Arrate, Chivisaya, Media Montana, Ajafona, and Las Lagunitas, where the fire has become a major threat, were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
