Elon Musk's lawsuit faces opposition from OpenAI

In a recent development, Chatgpt maker OpenAI has vehemently rebutted Elon Musk's lawsuit against the company, dismissing his claims as baseless and self-serving.

Musk, a former co-founder of OpenAI, initiated legal action earlier this month, alleging that the organization deviated from its original mission to serve humanity.

He contended that OpenAI, led by Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, had strayed from its initial vision of being a nonprofit, open-source entity to pursue profit-driven motives.

Musk further accused OpenAI of breaching its founding agreement, which purportedly stipulated that the organization would never operate for profit.

However, OpenAI swiftly responded to Musk's allegations, characterizing them as unfounded and nonsensical.

The company refuted the existence of any such founding agreement with Musk and accused him of fabricating claims to advance his personal agenda.

OpenAI emphasized that Musk's assertions lacked merit and were merely a ploy to serve his commercial interests.

Moreover, OpenAI highlighted evidence suggesting that Musk had endorsed the organization's transition to a for-profit structure, with himself at the helm of control.

The company asserted that Musk's motivations stemmed from a desire to claim credit for OpenAI's achievements after distancing himself from the project.
