American Jazz musician Marcus Miller to give concert in Türkiye’s Istanbul
64-year-old American jazz artist Marcus Miller will meet his fans in Türkiye’s Istanbul on October 31.
The master musician Marcus Miller, who has won many awards, including two Grammys, is regarded as one of the rare artists who can play many different instruments skilfully.
The Istanbul concert of the musician, who closely follows Turkish music and has worked with musicians in Türkiye, including Husnu Senlendirici in the past, will start at 9 p.m. at Volkswagen Arena with the organization of Kod Music.
Miller will be accompanied by trumpet virtuoso Russell Gunn, drummer David Chiverton, saxophone virtuoso Donald Hayes, who is also an arranger, orchestrator, and film score composer, and Julian Pollack, known for his innovative use of keyboards in jazz, fusion, hip-hop, and electronic music styles.
He will also present a selection of his own compositions, from the compositions of his master Miles Davis to the important recordings of his career.
