North Korea launches cruise missiles into Yellow Sea: South Korea
The South Korean General Staff announced that North Korea launched cruise missiles in the direction of the Yellow Sea. It was noteworthy that the missile tests took place after the joint military exercises of the United States (US) and South Korea on August 17-31.

According to Yonhap, a South Korea-based news agency, the National Defence Council under the South Korean Presidency convened urgently. It was noteworthy that the missile tests took place after the "Ulchi Freedom Shield (UFS)" military exercise of the U) and South Korea on August 17-31.
North Korean state media stated that the military exercise of South Korea and the US "deepened the risk of nuclear war" on the Korean Peninsula.
