Baykar signs cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan

Turkish defense firm Baykar has signed a Collaboration Agreement for Joint Research, Development, and Production with Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry.

The collaboration agreement was signed by Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar and Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Defense Aqil Qurbanov. The signing ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani Minister of Defense General Zakir Hasanov, Baykar Chairman of the Board Selcuk Bayraktar, and representatives from both sides.

Bayraktar stated in a post on the social media platform X that they have taken an important step to shape the future with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By signing the "Collaboration Agreement for Joint Research, Development, and Production," Bayraktar emphasized that they have come together for the security and progress of the two brotherly countries.

He noted, "Signing this agreement is a reflection of the strong cooperation and mutual trust between the two countries, beyond technological innovations. Our brotherhood, growing under the principle of 'one nation, two states,' is further strengthened by this sense of unity. I wish this agreement to be beneficial and auspicious for our countries."
