Starting on Wednesday, June 28, Eid al-Adha will end on Sunday, July 2.
In Islamic countries, the sacrifice markets have opened and the Eid celebrations have begun.
In some countries, calves and sheep are slaughtered, while in others camels are slaughtered. Egypt is one of the countries where camels are slaughtered.
However, camel's prices have increased reaching EGP 5,000 or EGP 8,000 for “Alqoud” which means the small camel and the price for the old camel is up to EGP 20,000.
With inflation rising in Egypt, it is a mystery whether people can afford camel prices.
