Evaluation of the Kremlin on the elections in Türkiye

After the presidential and parliamentary elections held in Türkiye yesterday, the first statement came from Russia. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in his first statement on the elections, said, "We are connected by a very broad cooperation based on mutual benefit in energy, tourism, trade, agriculture, road and air transport and various fields.This cooperation is truly mutually beneficial for both the Turkish people and the Russians. Drawing attention to the transparency of the elections in Türkiye, Peskov said, "No matter who wins, Russia's close cooperation with Türkiye will continue. Türkiye is a country with a mature democracy that can hold transparent elections and prevent illegal actions."
