Turkish President Erdogan spoke on the phone with Palestinian President Abbas

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas congratulated Erdogan on his re-election as president, Ihlas News Agency reported.

According to a statement released by the Presidential Communications Directorate, Palestinian President Abbas congratulated President Erdogan on his election success and wished the election results to be beneficial for the Turkish people.

During the meeting, Türkiye-Palestine relations and regional issues were also discussed.
