The United Nations(UN) took care of the Palestinians targeted by the Israel attacks. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for Palestine Refugees announced that 20,300 Palestinians have been placed in schools in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the attacks.
In a statement, UNRWA Spokesperson Adnan Abu Hasne gave information about the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since yesterday.
Abu Hasne stated that 20,300 Palestinians who left their homes since yesterday evening have been staying in 44 schools in different parts of the Gaza Strip, pointing out that this number may increase in the shadow of the displacement of more Palestinians.
Palestinian families continue to leave their homes near the border areas of the Gaza Strip or near the areas targeted by Israel in intensive attacks. The abandoned houses are either completely or partially demolished.
On October 7, 2023, after the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' Operation launched by Hamas against the lands occupied by Israel, the conflicts turned into the Israeli-Palestinian war.
Benjamin Netanyahu said that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" launched by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, from the blockaded Gaza Strip into Israel because of the attack on the country's capital city.
Netanyahu stated that Hamas started a war against Israel, that today's situation has not been seen before, and that they will not allow it to be repeated again.
"The army will use all its power to hurt Hamas. We will cripple and wreck every place where Hamas gathers and hides," Netanyahu noted.
