It was noted that the Ministry has set up a special telephone line for German citizens who want to leave Israel, which can be reached around the clock. It was shared that German citizens who want to return to their country must register on the "crisis precaution list". Lufthansa announced that it had suspended flights to Israel until Saturday.

After Austria and Spain announced that they would bring their citizens from Israel by military aircraft, the German government's crisis management was criticized by the opposition.
