The Israeli attack on the historic church in Gaza City, where displaced people in the Gaza Strip have taken refuge, killed and wounded people.

At least two women have been killed and many other people have been injured in an Israeli attack on the Greek Orthodox Church in Gaza, the Palestinian news agency WAFA said Thursday.

Earlier, the Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip said there were a significant number of civilian casualties, both fatalities and injuries, resulting from a "new massacre" committed by the Israeli military against displaced people sheltering in the church.

Patriarchate expresses its 'strongest condemnation' of Israeli 'war crime'

“targeting churches and their institutions, along with the shelters they provide to protect innocent citizens, especially children, and women who have lost their homes due to Israeli airstrikes on residential areas over the past thirteen days, constitutes a war crime that cannot be ignored,” the Patriarchate published on its official website.
