Türkiye to continue to support Palestinian brothers: Turkish President Erdogan

Türkiye always stands by its Palestinian brothers in Gaza and will continue to help the oppressed civilians, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Palestine Rally in Türkiye’s Istanbul.

"Today, everyone will hear our sorrow for Gaza. Türkiye will stand up for Gaza today as it did past. Gaza is no different from any other city in Türkiye," Erdogan said.

‘OCCUPIER ISRAEL’

Erdogan condemned Israel's blockade of Gaza and stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel are no different from terrorists.

"There are unfortunates who leave Hamas to Netanyahu, saying that Hamas is a terrorist just as Netanyahu is a terrorist. There are evil-doers who are unaware of what Hamas is. Those who voted for them in my country should also think well now. I hope history will not make us experience what we are experiencing here today," he added.

‘WESTERN STATES ONLY GUILTY’

Erdogan stated that the Western states intend to conduct a crusade in the Middle East and said that the West is the only one to blame for the situation in Gaza.

"Those who cried those killed in the Ukraine-Russia war yesterday are silent today for the children dying in Gaza. I am addressing you, O West, do you want to start a Crescent-Crusader struggle again? If you are in such an endeavor, know that this nation is not dead. With the same determination, we are the same in the Middle East as we are in Libya, as we are in Karabakh," he emphasized.

'ISRAEL WAR CRIMINAL'

Erdogan underlined that Türkiye is working to declare Israel a war criminal to the world.

"We will not remain silent on the massacre in Gaza. We will do everything in our power to declare Israel a war criminal to the world,” he noted.
