Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov discusses new projects in the fields of economy, trade, investment, transportation, agriculture, technology and tourism with his Turkish and Georgian counterparts.

"We will soon witness a series of new and very serious developments," Bayramov said.

Following the ninth Trilateral Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, Bayramov addressed the press alongside his counterparts Hakan Fidan and Ilia Darchiashvili.

Assessing the relations between the three countries, Bayramov stated, "The agenda of relations between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia is multifaceted and rich, serving as an example to many countries."

Baku Declaration signed

Bayramov announced the signing of the Baku Declaration to further strengthen and develop these relations, stating, "The dynamism of our economic relations progresses in perfect harmony with political dialogue. Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia have formed an economic triangle encompassing the broad geography of the Caspian and Black Sea basins.

Through our joint efforts, projects such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Oil Pipeline, and Southern Gas Corridor, which shape and significantly alter the energy and transportation maps covering a wider geography, are now a reality.

Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan's position as one of the major investors in Türkiye and Georgia, saying, "We have discussed projects in the fields of economy, trade, investment, transportation, agriculture, high technologies, and tourism. We have talked about new projects. We will witness a series of new and very serious developments in the near future."

Bayramov also mentioned initiatives in the field of renewable energy, emphasizing their belief that the relations in traditional energy will also continue in renewable energy.

'International law must be applied'

Informing his counterparts about the situation post-conflict with Armenia, reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts, and mine clearance activities, Bayramov stated, "With Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty fully restored, a historic opportunity for peace with Armenia has emerged. Azerbaijan is taking steps in this regard.

The rules of international law must be applied for regional peace and stability. The international community must prevent vengeful forces in Armenia."

This press conference follows a meeting aimed at further enhancing the cooperation and partnerships between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia across various sectors, showcasing a commitment to regional development and stability.
