Before the iftar dinner, President Osmani received information from Colonel Sabri Gokhan Karamursel, the head of the Turkish Representation, about Turkish soldiers' activities at the Sultan Murat Barracks.

Speaking in Turkish, Osmani congratulated the guests on Ramadan and conveyed unity and solidarity.

Turkish military personnel have been serving within KFOR in Kosovo since 1999.

Türkiye took over the command of KFOR for the first time on Oct. 10, 2023, for a period of one year.
