Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahcel made his first remarks regarding the recent elections.

Bahceli said, "The March 31 elections have demonstrated that Turkish democracy has reached a high standard, setting an example for the world. The message conveyed by our esteemed nation through the ballot box is significant."

He continued, "Following the retention of major cities by the People's Alliance, the Republican People's Party (CHP), the attention turns toward the March 31 elections, which have essentially proven that Turkish democracy has reached a commendable standard, serving as a global example. The message conveyed by our esteemed nation through the ballot box is significant."

He criticized those spreading rumors of a change in government, calling it "reckless and morally corrupt" for circles to act senselessly, creating rumors of a change in power and calling for early elections.

"The Presidential Cabinet remains in duty. Our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the head of the state, and our support stands firmly behind him. The numerical and political majority of the People's Alliance in the Turkish Grand National Assembly is evident to everyone," he stated.

Bahceli also highlighted the importance of the People's Alliance in shaping the future of Türkiye, stating, "The People's Alliance is the architect of the future, the guide of the Turkish era, the axis and cornerstone of the new century. The Turkish nation distinguishes remarkably between those who are engaged in saving the day and those who are focused on building the future."

The MHP leader emphasized that the local elections provided an avenue for the people, especially to express their social and economic hardships, setting the agenda for the upcoming period.

"Sovereignty and authority belong to the people; it is our collective responsibility to solidify political stability with economic stability and development. Regardless of how the results of the March 31 elections are interpreted, the Nationalist Movement Party has achieved significant success," he added.

Bahceli addressed critics and commentators on television screens, stating that they would be disappointed with their purposeful and misleading claims.

He concluded with a message of hope and determination, saying, "There is no room for despair or hopelessness; our struggle and our dedication to serving the people will continue with enthusiasm and unwavering commitment. The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance will work harder, unite more closely with the people, and the losses in local administrations will undoubtedly be compensated."

He expressed confidence that each political party participating in the March 31 elections will take their share of responsibility and draw necessary lessons from the outcome.

The MHP leader signed off with a reassurance that the People's Alliance, representing the essence of the Turkish nation's spirit and the horizon of Türkiye's century, will continue on its resolute, enthusiastic, courageous, and faithful path.
