Trade Minister discusses economic partnership with Qatari counterpart

Trade Minister Omer Bolat, in a post on his social media account, mentioned that they had a phone conversation with Qatari Minister of Commerce and Industry Mohammed bin Hamed bin Kasim Al Sani and conveyed mutual greetings for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr. 

Bolat said that they have evaluated the commercial, economic and investment relations for the upcoming period with the Economic Partnership Agreement, the approval processes of which have been completed, with his Qatari counterpart Kasim Al Sani.

Highlighting the economic and trade relations between Türkiye and Qatar during the meeting, as well as regional and global developments, Bolat noted: "With my Qatari counterpart, we have agreed to further deepen our commercial, economic and investment relations in the upcoming period with the Economic Partnership Agreement, the approval processes of which we have concluded."

"We have full confidence in the contribution of Türkiye-Qatar cooperation to the prosperity of our countries as well as our region," he added.
