Turkish, Qatari officials meet in Mersin to discuss Gaza aid, regional affairs

Interior Deputy Minister Munir Karaloglu and Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim met with Lolwah Rashid Al Khater, State Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, in Mersin province.

As part of the ceremony for the departure of the "Türkiye-Qatar Gaza Goodwill Ship," prepared under the auspices of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) for delivery to Gaza, Interior Deputy Minister Karaloglu, Deputy Foreign Minister Serim, and Qatari State Minister Al Khater, who were in the city for the event, visited the Mersin Governorship.

The delegation, welcomed by Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, signed the governorship's guest book.

Deputy Ministers Karaloglu and Serim, along with Qatari State Minister Al Khater, later held a closed-door consultation meeting.

The meeting discussed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, humanitarian aid activities in Gaza and other everyday agenda items.
