The Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency has inaugurated an office in Cameroon's capital Yaounde on Wednesday.
The Turkish ambassador to Cameroon, Omer Faruk Dogan, said the office would be able to provide aid not only to Cameroon, but also to other countries on the African continent.
Established in 1992, Turkey's government-run aid agency is responsible for implementing Turkey's developmental cooperation policies overseas.
It offers aid to 49 countries around the world, such as Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan, Myanmar and Yemen.
