Liverpool, Manchester City draw 1-1 to send Arsenal top of Premier League

Liverpool faced off against Manchester City at Anfield in the 28th week of the Premier League. The highly anticipated match ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the 23rd minute of the match, Manchester City scored with a clever corner kick play. Kevin de Bruyne's corner kick found Nathan Ake, who marked the Liverpool players to create space for Stones.

Stones, left unmarked in a clear position at the near post, slotted the ball into the net.

Liverpool started the second half strong, equalizing the score in the 50th minute. Mac Allister of the Reds leveled the score to 1-1 with a goal from the penalty spot, becoming the match's decisive figure.

Following the 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester City, Arsenal claimed the top spot in the Premier League.

Arsenal, with 64 points, sits atop the table on goal difference ahead of Liverpool, who also have 64 points. Manchester City, on the other hand, holds the 3rd position with 63 points.
