Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the delivery of humanitarian aid to Türkiye following two major earthquakes that shook the southern regions of the country.
In the statement made by Zelensky's office, it was stated that the decree was signed "to help overcome the consequences of the extraordinary situation that developed in the Republic of Türkiye due to the earthquake".
The decree orders the provision of humanitarian aid and the Council of Ministers work to be done.
In a separate development, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that dozens of rescuers could help search and rescue operations in Türkiye, adding that 20 Ukrainian citizens who could not reach their relatives in the country received applications from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
