Uğur Şahin and Özlem Türeci, CEO and co-founders of the BioNTech vaccine,  also participated in these donations. 1 MILLION EURO AID

Şahin stated that they donated a total of €1 million, of which €500 thousand to the German non-profit organization Aktionsbuendnis Katastrophenhilfe, and €500 thousand to the partners of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Germany.
