Eris, a sub-variant of the coronavirus, has caused some countries to take measures reminiscent of the first days of the pandemic. In the United States of America (USA), institutions and organizations have imposed a mask obligation on their employees in order to prevent the new wave of epidemics thought to be caused by the Eris variant.

The Eris variant, which emerged after the Omicron variant, is seen as responsible for the increase in the number of cases in the United States (US) and the United Kingdom(UK). Experts recommend tightening measures to combat the variant.

Atlanta-based Morris Brown College announced that they have reinstated the mask requirement within the scope of COVID-19 measures, following the recommendations of experts. In its statement, the university administration underlined that wearing a mask is mandatory for 14 days and asked to comply with the distance rules on campus.

MASK DECISION FROM JOHN WICK STUDIO

A similar decision came from the Lionsgate film studio. The Hollywood studio, which produces films such as John Wick and The Hunger Games, has imposed a mask obligation on its employees. In the e-mail obtained by Deadline, employees working in the office in Los Angeles were asked to wear medical masks. The company also asked its employees who traveled abroad in the last 10 daysnot to come to the office.
