Fanatical Jewish group raids Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem was raided by 225 civilian fanatic Jews under Israeli police surveillance Thursday, according to media reports.

While Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and civilians continue uninterruptedly, tension continues to rise in East Jerusalem.

In the statement made by the Jerusalem Islamic Foundations Office, it was stated that 225 fanatic Jews raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque under police protection.

It was reported that the Jewish invaders who raided the mosque from the direction of the Maghribe Gate carried out provocative actions and religious rituals in the mosque's courtyard.

Israeli police beefed up the surveillance at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Jordan's Minister of Foundations, Mohammed Al-Halayile, condemned the attack, saying that the raids were carried out with the support of Israeli government officials and underlined that they were committed to the historical conflict about the legal status of the mosque.
