According to official Egyptian news agencies, the league strongly condemned "Israel's ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and its continuation of the crime of genocide."

Warning that an attack on the city of Rafah by the Israeli army would signify a new massacre against the Palestinian people, the league called on the U.N. Security Council to once again take action under the provisions of Article 7 of the U.N. Charter, ensuring Israel's compliance with the ceasefire and guaranteeing humanitarian access.

The league also condemned the United States' veto of Palestine's full membership application to the U.N., stating that the veto demonstrated the failure of the U.S. to fulfill the requirements and principles of peace, security, and stability in the region, contradicting its declaration of support for a two-state solution.

The Council called on the U.S. and E.U. countries to halt arms and ammunition exports to Israel and to cease financing the production of unmanned aerial vehicles used by Israel in the genocide against the Palestinian people.

In a call to all countries that do not recognize the State of Palestine was to do so immediately to preserve the chance for peace in the region and ensure security and stability. The Arab League demanded independent investigations by international justice institutions into mass graves uncovered at Shifa and Nasser Hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

On April 22, Palestine urgently summoned the Arab League to discuss "genocide crimes" against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
