Armenia's Pashinyan says hostilities with Türkiye, Azerbaijan must 'end'

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made significant statements regarding the normalization processes with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, and he addressed questions from the press in Yerevan.

Pashinyan expressed his desire to cease hostilities with Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

Emphasizing that efforts are underway to demarcate the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Armenian leader remarked: “The process of delineating the border and installing markers, beginning from the Tavush Region of Armenia, has reached 90% completion.

The further this endeavor advances, the stronger the assurance of security guarantees and the diminishing feasibility of war.”

Highlighting the importance of security assurances in alleviating tensions, the Armenian Prime Minister indicated a forthcoming review of their national security strategy.
