AstraZeneca decides to withdraw COVID-19 vaccines from market

The British pharmaceutical giant has announced that it will withdraw its COVID-19 vaccine worldwide due to declining demand and an excess of updated vaccines.

AstraZeneca recently acknowledged for the first time in court documents that the Covid vaccine could cause a very rare side effect.

The company has faced multiple claims in a class-action lawsuit over the Covid vaccine. Some claimants stated that they lost loved ones because of the vaccine, while others alleged that the vaccine caused serious health problems.

The first legal action against the company was initiated in April 2021 by Jamie Scott, a father of two who suffered brain damage due to a blood clot after being vaccinated and was unable to work.
