The Philippines accused Chine that a coast guard ship on Sunday of crashing into a Philippine coast guard ship with a military-grade laser. Among the accusations was the temporary blindness of some of the crew. The Philippines described it as an obvious move.

“The Chinese ship illuminated the green laser light twice toward the BRP Malapascua, causing temporary blindness to her crew at the bridge,” the Philippine statement said.
