Anti-disinformation center refutes claims alleging Türkiye supplies fuel to Israeli warplanes

Türkiye's anti-disinformation center refuted social media claims alleging Türkiye supplied fuel to Israeli warplanes on April 9.

The Communications Directorate's Center for Combating Disinformation clarified on X that the assertions are "untrue."

According to the center, the fuel in question is not sent directly to Israel but is jet fuel bought for Israeli civilian aircraft at Turkish airports.

They stressed that all fuel recipients are passenger planes.

The statement also highlighted that data from Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority confirms that jet fuel sales have no association with Israeli military aircraft.
