Germany vs. Turkiye: probable teams, match stats

Turkiye's national team, which has secured qualification for EURO 2024, will host Germany in Berlin, where thousands of Turks live on Saturday, at 8:45 p.m. (22:45 Türkiye local time). The match will be broadcast live in Turkiye on TRT 1 channel. 

Referee Bartosz Frankowski from the Polish Football Federation will officiate the match. Marcin Boniek and Jakub Winkler will be the assistant referees and Tomasz Musial will be the fourth referee.

There are no absentees in the national football team except Cengiz Under and Hakan Calhanoglu, who were left out of the squad.

"There are a lot of Turkish citizens living here and we really want to make them proud. So it's really important for us in terms of preparation," Turkish National Team Technical Director Vincenzo Montella said at the press conference.

"Germany has a really strong team. They are one of the countries that have the potential to reach the final and win the European Championship. So it will be a good test for our future plans to be able to play a game like this, to give the performance we want. After this game we will confirm against Wales," Montella added. 

The Turkiye national team has played against the German national team 8 times. In these matches, 4 defeats, 2 wins, and 2 draws were achieved.
