Turkish voters in Thailand go to the polls for the runoff

Turkish citizens living in the South Asian country of Thailand went to the polls in the morning for the runoff of the presidential election to be held in Türkiye on May 28.

Turkish voters living in Thailand started to cast their votes at the Turkish Embassy in Bangkok for the runoff of the presidential election

Turkish voters living in Bangkok will be able to cast their votes between 08:00 AM to 10:00 PM today, Ihlas News Agency reported.

In addition to Thailand, registered Turkish voters living in Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, the Philippines and Laos also cast their votes at the Embassy of Türkiye in Bangkok. 

Serap Ersoy, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangkok, stated that the runoff election activities continued without any problems at the Bangkok Embassy as in the first round and that they were satisfied with the participation and invited Turkish citizens living abroad to vote at the embassies they are affiliated with.
