The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) arranged Ramadan iftars, along with food aid packages, for families in Croatia, the Republic of Congo, Peru, Yemen, and Somalia, underscoring its commitment to global humanitarian efforts.

TIKA commenced the distribution of food packages to 1,000 needy families in Croatia, coinciding with Ramadan, a sacred month for Muslims marked by fasting from dawn to dusk and devout reflection, as per an official statement from the agency.

Moreover, a gathering of 150 individuals convened for an iftar dinner at the Congolese Islamic Supreme Council Center in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, showcasing solidarity and support within the community.

In Lima, the capital of Peru, TIKA set up iftar tables for five consecutive days at the mosque affiliated with the Peruvian Islamic Association in the Magdalena Del Mar region, drawing participation from approximately 800 individuals who shared in the spirit of the iftar program.
