President Erdogan expresses concern over recent atrocities against Palestinians in Batman rally

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a stirring speech at an election rally in Batman, addressing 50,000 enthusiastic supporters.

In his address, Erdogan extended his greetings for the upcoming Ramadan Bayram to the people of Batman.

He expressed concern over the recent atrocities against the Palestinian people by the state of Israel, saying that the ongoing struggles of the Gazan people, enduring for 173 days despite military pressure, serve as a lesson in dignity and courage to the world.

Drawing attention to the urgent need for an immediate cease-fire in the Gaza conflict, President Erdogan called for increased pressure on Israel to comply with the U.N. Security Council's resolution. He assured that Türkiye will continue to do its part to help Gaza achieve peace and stability.

Unwavering commitment to national security

The president spoke passionately about the ongoing fight against terrorism, particularly against Daesh and PKK terrorism. He assured the crowd of Türkiye's unwavering commitment to national security and the protection of its borders.

Erdogan emphasized the importance of serving the people, saying that the government's policies aim to improve the lives of all citizens. He highlighted Türkiye's economic achievements under the AK Party government, pointing to significant investments made in Batman and across the country.

"We are determined to continue our efforts to rebuild and develop our region," Erdogan declared, outlining plans for further infrastructure development, health care facilities, and educational institutions.

In a call for unity and progress, Erdogan urged the crowd to support the party's vision for the future. He emphasized the need for solidarity and cooperation to overcome challenges and build a stronger, more prosperous Türkiye.

TL 91B investment made in Batman

In the end, Erdogan highlighted the extensive investments made in Batman over the past 21 years, totaling over TL 91 billion ($2.82 billion). These investments include the construction of 4,920 new classrooms, the establishment of a university, 2,554-capacity dormitories, 39 sports facilities, a 15,000-seat stadium, and the completion of numerous health care facilities.

As the rally concluded, Erdogan introduced the party's candidates for the upcoming elections, urging voters to support their vision for the continued development and prosperity of Batman and Türkiye as a whole.
