Turkish, Saudi FMs discuss Gaza in critical phone call

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faysal bin Farhan Al Saud, had a significant phone conversation Sunday.

The conversation primarily addressed the current situation in Gaza and explored bilateral and regional relations.

The ministers dedicated much of their discussion to the unfolding events in Gaza.

They evaluated the potential activities of the Contact Group in the near future regarding the region.

Diplomatic sources emphasized this agenda's importance, stressing the Contact Group's critical role in these discussions.

Alongside the discussions on Gaza, the two diplomats also explored the state of bilateral relationships between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

The dialogue extended to broader regional developments, indicating a mutual interest in maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East.
