Turkish forces eliminate 3 PKK terrorists in Gara region of N. Iraq

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that three PKK terrorists were killed in northern Iraq.

In a statement from the MSB, it was stated, 'We will not allow the terrorist organization to raise its head, and we will continue to strike them in their hideouts.'

"Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces neutralized three PKK terrorists identified in the Gara region of northern Iraq with an airstrike."

The PKK has waged a terror campaign against Türkiye for over 35 years, resulting in the deaths of over 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.

The organization is recognized as a terrorist group by Türkiye, the U.S. and the European Union.

Türkiye has consistently raised concerns regarding the tolerance extended to the PKK and its supporters across Europe.
