In a statement made by the authorities, it was recorded that the lifeless body of a man in his 70s was reached in a house where the flames spread. A total of 3 people, including 2 firefighters, were injured in the fire.

INSTRUCTIONS TO USE ALL RESOURCES

Gangwon Province Governor Kim Jin-tae said that more than 170 hectares of land had been turned to ash in the fire.

Expressing that the cause of the fire was being investigated, Kim said that they thought that the flames started because a tree fell on electrical cables due to strong winds.
