Elon Musk, one of the richest names in the world, is preparing to open a Tesla factory in Türkiye. Tesla's 8th factory for Tesla, Musk started to look for land in Türkiye, while it is stated that the transfer of the giant land in Türkiye's Manisa to Tesla began to be discussed.
Tesla, which has a total of six factories, one each in New York, Texas, Nevada, California, California, China, and Germany, and whose seventh factory is under construction in Mexico, has decided to establish a new factory in Türkiye.
While a clear statement on the subject has not yet come, it has started to be rumored that Musk is looking for land in Türkiye. While these allegations created an agenda, it was claimed that Musk was evaluating Türkiye's Manisa province for the factory. 3 years ago, it was stated that the giant land in Manisa, where Volkswagen gave up the investment at the last moment, is on the table to be given to Tesla.
If Tesla establishes a factory in Türkiye's Manisa province, Türkiye will produce Teslas that will be used by both the Middle East and Europe. Tesla will be sold from Türkiye to all of Europe and the Middle East. The fact that Türkiye is very strategic in terms of its geopolitical location and the good relations between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Elon Musk strengthen the claims.
On the other hand, Elon Musk's other company for SpaceX Starlink in 2024, SpaceX's Starlink internet service in Türkiye has been finalized.
In fact, on the service map on Starlink's official website, satellite internet for Turkey is defined as "very soon". The other two descriptions are 'Available' and 'Waiting list'.
