While the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Management is preparing to officially announce today that it has parted ways with Stefan Kuntz, it is claimed that Vincenzo Montella will be brought in as the National Team coach instead of the German coach.
According to the news of the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport; Vincenzo Montella will go to Türkiye's Istanbul with his team today. The 49-year-old coach will sign a 3-year contract with TFF.

It was stated that the Federation convinced Montella with a 3-year project aiming to participate in EURO 2024 and then the 2026 World Cup.
It is stated that the Italian coach will bring 3 of his assistants, with whom he worked at Adana Demirspor, one of the leading teams in Türkiye, and who are familiar with Türkiye.
Montella had worked with Daniele Russo (head assistant coach), Massimo Crivellero (match analyst), and Polino Pierpaulo (athletic performance coach) in the Adana team.
The 2024 European Football Championship Qualifying Group D team is in second place with 10 points from five matches.
On October 12, the Turkish team, which will face Croatia, will complete the qualifiers by facing Latvia at home and then away against Wales.
