Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's negotiations to get more support in the United States (US) after attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) continue. As the critical talks continued, the comment made by American journalist Jackson Hinkle to the Ukrainian president, who has shown great support for the Joe Biden administration, attracted attention.

In an interview with Russia Today (RT), Hinkle made it clear that he does not support the US position in support of the war in Ukraine and called Volodymyr Zelenskyy an "agent of influence" of the United States. he said he faced the same fate as al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

"I could be wrong, but I think Zelenskyy is headed for a tragic end," Hinkle said.

The journalist emphasized that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which he claimed had caused the deaths of 71 thousand people, had become a "suicide mission", adding that the residents of Odesa, Lviv, and Kyiv should have protested against the government for sending their wives, fathers, sons, and brothers to the front, but it is understandable that they did not do so because of the fact that the reaction of the authorities would have been brutal.

ZELENSKYY’S STATEMENT TO US PRESS

In an interview with Wolf Blitzer on US-based CNN, Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian army's counter-offensive, which is currently underway, is going in a good direction.

"We're coming to the end," Zelenksyy said.

Emphasizing that question marks about Kyiv's offensive success were unwarranted, Zelenskyy also stated that they wanted the supply of long-range missiles, which caused long-term debates in the USA.

In the continuation of the interview, Zelenskyy was asked whether Ukraine would be able to achieve significant success in its ongoing counter-offensive this year, and instead of giving a definite answer, as he had done before, he confusingly said that no one could know, but that Ukraine would be more successful.
